Garlic has many benefits to human body. You should eat garlic only in its raw form to get all the nutrients in it, absorbed by your body. There is no use in consuming artificially made garlic preparations like garlic paste. Three pieces of garlic should be consumed by  a person. The way in which you should consume the garlic is to chew it and then swallow it and not just to swallow it as a whole. 
Garlic has many medical uses such as:
1. Reduces bad cholesterol
2. Reduces blood pressure
3. reduces heart attack
4.Helps in healing of wound. Since it contains Vitamin-C. 
5. Helps in the cure of bleeding disorders, since it contains Vitamin-C 
6.Immunity booster, since it contains antioxidants
7. Prevents the occurrence of common cold
8. Good for thyroid patients, since it contains selenium
9.Useful in the treatment of constipation, since it contains fiber  also
10. Manganese present in garlic also has many medical uses to the human body.
