Unwanted male pattern hair growth on a female’s face, chest, back,lower abdomen or inner thigh. This condition in females is called hirsutism. Hirsutism is due to excess male hormones, called androgens.


They are some other side effects due to increased level of androgens in a female and they are:
1.Deepening of voice 
2.Balding 
3.Pimple
4.Reduction in breast size
5.Muscular body
6.Enlargement of  clitoris






Hirsutism is caused by:


1. Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
2. Cushing syndrome.
3. Congenital adrenal hyperplasia
4. Some Medicines








Treatments for Hirsutism:
1. Weight loss by following a balanced diet.
 2. Proper hormonal balance.
3. Laser hair removal treatment.
